Before attending Darlene‘s classes, I was a type A personality in overdrive.  I’m still type A but now on cruise control thanks to the meditation and breathing tools I learned and have been using. After only one hour, I’m so calm and relaxed, both mentally and physically, like I had a full night of uninterrupted sleep. And the gong… don’t get me started on the gong… the sound resonates through every cell in the body, and it’s something everyone should experience…

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is kundalini yoga?

Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness.  This practice which includes meditation and brings us closer to our true self, our “sat nam” (rhymes with but mom).  Sat nam means I am truth, truth is my name, I am that I am.  Embodying our truth, our authenticity, gives us the gifts of living life with peace, happiness and freedom and inspires others to do the same.

2. What should I bring to class?

We recommend bringing a yoga mat, a water bottle, a blanket and a cushion. 

3. I’m a beginner. Which class should I start with?

If you’re new to kundalini yoga, we recommend starting with a kundalini meditation class. If you are not sure, just send me an email or book a time to speak. I will be happy to guide you. 

4. What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows for easy movement. Breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics are ideal to keep you feeling comfortable throughout your practice.

5. How do I book a class?
